Stepan Soultanian

Stepan Soultanian was born in Cyprus in 1965 but moved to London at an early age. He began playing the violin at age seven and met a local violin repairman at fifteen. The sight of all the tools and the smell of the workshop fascinated him so much that he decided to make this trade his career. As from 2021 Stepan has been acknowledged as a Master Artisan by the Michelangelo Foundation meeting all 11 criteria for excellence in craftsmanship. Graduate of the Newark School of Violin Making in 1986, Stepan has worked internationally including the United Kingdom, Japan, Belgium and Greece. Now based in Cyprus he has established a high reputation with clients all over the world.
