Stefanie Bille

Born in Mannheim in 1963, Stefanie Bille spent her youth and school years in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. After studying double bass for a semester at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts, she trained in violin making at the State Vocational School of Violin Making in Mittenwald from 1983 to 1987. She works in small batches of up to 7 instruments, where she first makes all the scrolls and then the ribs, and then finishes each instrument separately.
