The desire to make an instrument may arise from a meeting between a musician and a luthier, or from the luthier's personal journey to recreate the sound that inhabits him, to master a sonority. For Paul Noulet, the key to developing his work is to go and see the finest classical instruments at first hand and, if possible, to have the originals in his hands.
