Villa di Bivigliano

Italy

A few kilometers from Florence, in the greenness of a vast, historic park full of exotic tree species, stands the sixteenth-century Villa di Bivigliano. Currently restored, the original layout of the villa can still be seen, with elegant and sober facades. A large lawn extends on the north front, while to the south, after crossing two terraces that hold a lovely Italian garden and an ancient orchard, you reach a flowery pergola that invites you to look out over the valley and the cypresses lane.

The Belvedere Cottage is a charming, isolated rural building annexed to the Villa, placed within a landscape that maintains the charm of pure nature and with a panoramic view of a hilly, charming panorama.

The farmhouse building, with large outdoor spaces, is spread over two floors and has very bright rooms with ceilings in beams, and terracotta tiles and floors. On the ground floor are the entrance and a kitchen, while the first floor has a large living room with fireplace and dining area, with access to the garden, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom as well as a bathroom with tub and shower, and a closet with a washing machine.

The Villa di Bivigliano and its annexed farmhouses, lived in and cared for by the Pozzolini family through the generations, have been able to preserve the suggestion of their history intact, and today it is discreetly proposed as an ideal setting for unforgettable and unique events.
