From Monday, March 18th to Friday, March 22nd, 2024, the Antarja Quartet from Poland will spend a week in residence at Akoesticum with trainers from Stichting Strijkkwartet Biennale Amsterdam, a MERITA platform member who will accompany them in the development of their project on the chosen topic “Disabilities, interaction between professional musicians and fragile communities.” The residency will culminate in a concert on March 22nd at Het Huys ten Donck.

PAINTED BY MUSIC: Music and art bringing people together

A unique classical concert in which people in the audience will collaborate with the musicians by painting.
Through this project we want to reach a specific audience, who often find it difficult to access classical music concerts or the concerts are not adapted to their needs and sensitivities.
