Medea String Quartet at Het Huys Donck

From Monday, March 18th to Friday, March 22nd, 2024, the Medea String Quartet from UK will spend a week in residence at Akoesticum with trainers from Stichting Strijkkwartet Biennale Amsterdam, a MERITA platform member who will accompany them in the development of their project on the chosen topic “Disabilities, interaction between professional musicians and fragile communities.” The residency will culminate in a concert on March 22nd at Het Huys Ten Donck.

An inclusive concert bringing audiences and artists together, bridging the gap between stage and stalls to engage a wider public. By stimulating a variety of senses, we aim to give audiences the tools to make classical music more intelligible and to keep audiences, especially those with attention-related disorders, engaged.
