This project explores the universal experience of loss and the communal journey toward healing. Through a performance combining spoken word and music, it aims to inspire audiences by showcasing shared experiences and resilience in overcoming adversity. Featuring stories of individuals who have navigated various forms of loss—whether physical abilities, loved ones, or homes—the concert is structured into chapters: Before, Losing, Fighting, and Overcoming. Each chapter incorporates on-screen storytellers sharing their personal journeys, complemented by compositions from Schubert, Bartók, Pijper, and original works. The performance includes arrangements of significant pieces and new compositions that intertwine music with narrated words, expressing emotions and promoting a message of solidarity and positivity in facing life’s challenges.

MUSIC PROGRAM

F.
