The project will center on Beethoven’s String Quartet op. 131, one of his last completed works, celebrated for its profound impact on the music world. Schubert, on his deathbed, famously requested to hear it, remarking on its significance in music composition. With its 7 movements, each portraying different aspects of life, the quartet plans to intersperse readings and projections of Beethoven’s letters, along with anecdotes from his life, reflecting the mood and character of each movement.
