Through the words of Clara Wieck-Schumann and Anglo-Korean violinist Sarah Kim-Cross, Moto Contrario traces two opposing journeys shaped by mental health challenges, with music as a metaphor for damnation and redemption. Robert Schumann’s works merge with music written and arranged for the project by Quartetto Indaco’s cellist Cosimo Carovani. Together with Letizia Castellano’s visual imagery, they create a multisensory journey through one of the most delicate and urgent issues of our time.
