The Alinde Quartet performs Schubert’s masterpiece “Death and the Maiden” to bring the concert experience closer to theater and multimedia by playing with lights and colors. The Alinde Quartet opens with a presentation about colors associated with certain emotions or atmospheric backgrounds. Concert attendees become light designers by using handheld lamps/battery torches and light filters/gels and responding in real-time to music changes.
