Founded in 2019 in Paris by Thomas Briant, Eliott Leridon, and Théotime Gillot, the ensemble draws inspiration from the mythical figure who inspired Nietzsche’s poetry. Graduates of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, they studied chamber music with Claire Désert, Louis Rodde, and the Trio Wanderer, receiving guidance from Patrick Jüdt, Alexander Lonquich, Dirk Mommertz, Anton Kernjak, Lise Berthaud, and Emmanuel Strosser. Winners of the First Prize at FNAPEC 2022 and Second Prize at the 2023 Orpheus Competition, they premiered a commissioned work by Asia Ahmetjanova. Regular festival appearances include La Roque d’Anthéron, Swiss Chamber Music Festival, Musikdorf Ernen, Les Journées Ravel, and Jeune Chopin Festival. They are in residence at Fondation Singer-Polignac and recently released a second album dedicated to Shostakovich.
