Trio Sonĝado, formed in 2024 at Zurich University of the Arts, unites pianist Joanna Goranko, violinist Lina Juknevičiūtė, and cellist Rugilė Juknevičiūtė. The ensemble combines classical and contemporary repertoire, incorporating spoken introductions to engage audiences. They won the Kiwanis International Chamber Music Competition 2024 and gave their debut at Tonhalle Zurich the same year. Joanna Goranko is a prizewinner at the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competitions and the Duttweiler Competition; Lina Juknevičiūtė won the Grand Prix at the Balys Dvarionas Competition and debuted at Wigmore Hall and Southbank Centre; Rugilė Juknevičiūtė has performed as soloist with the Lithuanian National Philharmonic and the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock. Under guidance from Prof. Eckart Heiligers, Trio Sonĝado develops programs that highlight both technical mastery and expressive storytelling.
