Trio Hermes

Formed by violinist Ginevra Bassetti, cellist Francesca Giglio and pianist Greta Maria Lobefaro, Trio Hèrmes has rapidly established itself on the Italian and international scene. The ensemble studied core repertoire with Trio di Parma and Pierpaolo Maurizzi at the Conservatorio “Arrigo Boito” in Parma, later continuing at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia with Ivan Rabaglia and at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona with Quartetto di Cremona. Selected for the mdw International Summer Academy and ECMA sessions, the Trio has won major prizes including Premio Crescendo, Premio Alberghini and was named Ensemble of the Year 2023 by Le Dimore del Quartetto. They perform regularly for leading Italian institutions and festivals, tour internationally, and released a debut album for Brilliant Classics dedicated to Ildebrando Pizzetti. The Trio combines canonical repertoire, contemporary collaborations and interdisciplinary projects linking music, art and literature.
