Trio Archai

Founded in 2023 in Basel, the award-winning Trio Archai has rapidly emerged as one of the most compelling young piano trios of its generation. The ensemble gained international recognition by winning First Prize and the Beethoven Prize at the Schoenfeld International String Competition 2025, as well as First Prize at the Royal Over-Seas League Competition 2024. The trio has performed at leading venues and festivals including Wigmore Hall, TivoliVredenburg and the Swiss Chamber Music Festival, and will hold a residency at Snape Maltings as Britten Pears Young Artists 2025/26. Alongside core repertoire, Trio Archai is strongly committed to contemporary music, having premiered new works in the 2024/25 season. The ensemble studies at the Musik Akademie Basel and is active within ECMA and major European chamber music networks.
