Founded in 2022, Quartetto Rilke is an Italian string quartet recognized as one of the most promising ensembles of its generation. Named after the poet Rainer Maria Rilke, the group brings together musicians trained at leading academies and conservatories in Italy and abroad. They have received the First Prize and Special Prize at the 2025 Giulio Rospigliosi International Chamber Music Competition, a residency at the 2025 Ticino Musica Festival, and the Diploma of Merit at Accademia Chigiana. Quartetto Rilke studied at the Accademia Stauffer in Cremona under Quartetto di Cremona and at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris with Miguel Da Silva, and attended masterclasses including Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland and Villecroze. The ensemble performs across Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland and internationally, and is a member of Le Dimore del Quartetto.
