Essence Trio

Founded in 2023, Essence Trio is a Warsaw-based piano trio formed by violinist Judyta Kluza-Sporniak, cellist Filip Sporniak and pianist Juliusz Goniarski. All three are graduates of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and continued their studies at institutions including Folkwang University of the Arts, Hochschule für Musik Detmold, Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. Alongside their ensemble work, the members have gained international experience through major solo competitions and collaborations with leading European chamber musicians and quartets. In 2025, Essence Trio was awarded 3rd Prize at the Kiejstut Bacewicz International Chamber Music Competition. Actively engaged in concert and educational activities, the trio performs in both traditional venues and unconventional spaces such as Hala Koszyki in Warsaw and the Austrian Cultural Forum. Their repertoire focuses on lesser-known works beyond the standard piano trio canon, approached with strong attention to structure, style and ensemble clarity.
