Founded in 2021, the award-winning Astatine Trio has rapidly gained international recognition, named BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists for 2025–27. Their awards include Second Prize and the Special Prize at the Franz Schubert and Modern Music Competition, and First Prizes at the Birmingham International, Virtuoso & Belcanto, and Senior Intercollegiate Piano Trio Competitions. The trio has performed at Wigmore Hall, The Glasshouse, and across Europe, and appeared on BBC Radio 3 as Britten Pears Young Artists. They are Hans Keller Chamber Fellows at the Guildhall School, resident ensemble at ProQuartet (2025–27), and Kirckman Concert Society Artists. From 2022–25, they studied with Alfred Brendel. Committed to contemporary music, they received the SEAM Prize and premiered a new trio by Timothy Salter in 2025.
