MERITA and the Wellbeing of Young Talents

On Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th September, partners gathered online for the Transnational Project Meeting, creating an opportunity to reflect on the project’s progress, exchange perspectives and strengthen collaboration across the consortium.

A dedicated session led by Jacob Shaw of Scandinavian Cello School focused on mental health among young talents, addressing the challenges faced by young musicians and professionals in an increasingly demanding and rapidly changing environment.

The session highlighted the importance of creating spaces for reflection around expectations, vulnerability and wellbeing, recognising these aspects as an integral part of supporting young artists in their personal and professional development.
