News | September 11, 2025
Le Dimore del Quartetto will participate in the ENCATC Congress 2025, taking place from 15-17 September in Barcelona. ENCATC, the European network of which Le Dimore del Quartetto is a member, invites cultural professionals, policymakers, educators, and researchers to explore the role of culture as a driving force for sustainability, well-being, and the creation of regenerative futures.
On 16 September, during Session 4 (from 10:00 to 12:00) of the Projects Showcase – Parallel Sessions, Le Dimore del Quartetto’s Executive Director Bianca Traxler will present the MERITA Platform – Where Chamber Music, Cultural Heritage and Talent Meet.
She will share the main results and achievements of MERITA’s first three years (2022–2025), illustrating how the project has fostered innovation in chamber music, strengthened ties with cultural heritage, and supported the professional growth of young ensembles.
Bianca will also introduce MERITAcubed, the next phase running until 2029. The upcoming call, opening in October 2025, will select 56 emerging ensembles who will benefit from residential training, artistic project development, and performance opportunities across Europe and beyond.
With this second phase of MERITA, the Platform continues to create sustainable bridges between talent, heritage, and audiences worldwide, innovating the chamber music sector and pioneering new ways for collaboration within the field.
The panel will also feature Nansi Ivanišević, President of Prokultura Association – Observatory of Cultural Policy, and Cristina Loglio, Vice President of Europa Nostra, offering a broader perspective on culture and policy in Europe.
