About
Trained by both the Viennese masters of the genre (the Alban Berg Quartet) and the great French chamber musicians (Miguel da Silva, the Modigliani Quartet), the Quatuor Métamorphoses brings a youthful and thoughtful perspective to the flamboyant string quartet repertoire. Ensemble in residence at the Singer-Polignac Foundation and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, their recording of Oskar Posa’s Quartet received a CHOC Classica award and top marks in Telerama, Le Monde and numerous international publications (Concerti, Limelight, RadioKlassik…). Committed to a renewed vision of transmission, they organise two festivals each year dedicated to the quartet repertoire in Senlis (Oise) and Southern Corsica.
