Athina, Greece
07 October 14:45
Presentation by Chiara Borghese, MERIRA Project Coordinator, and Bianca Traxler, Le Dimore del Quartetto Executive Director, within the IX European Forum on Historic Gardens.
The Forum takes place in Athens from October 7th to 9th under the theme “Historic Gardens Grow Europe”. Hosted by ERHG partner Green Athens & City of Athens, the Forum is held in the National Garden of Athens and brings together 120 participants and more than 25 speakers from 14 countries.
The programme includes the first MERITAcubed concert in the National Garden of Athens, as well as the awards ceremony for the first edition of the Acanthus Prize, held during the ERHG official gala dinner on October 8th.
The 2026 edition holds particular significance as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of the European Route of Historic Gardens (ERHG). The theme “Historic Gardens Grow Europe” highlights the role of historic gardens as living cultural landscapes that inspire, educate and connect communities across the continent.
